Leadership Readiness · $8

Am I ready to lead?

Almost nobody feels ready. That is normal, and it is not the same thing as being unready. This assessment walks you through real situations a new leader faces — a teammate who is struggling, a decision made above you that you have to carry, a deadline that will not move — and shows you clearly where you are already strong and what to build next.

What it is like

Step one
Read the situation
Short, realistic scenarios. Nothing abstract, no jargon, no trick questions.
Step two
Pick what you'd actually do
Every option is something a reasonable person would choose. There is no obvious "right answer" to hunt for — answer honestly and the report is worth more.
Step three
Get your read
Eight dimensions of leadership, scored, plus a written explanation of what each score means and one concrete thing to work on.

What you get back

  • A score in each of the eight leadership dimensions — with the strengths named first.
  • A readiness band, in plain English, not a label to be embarrassed about.
  • Where your answers pulled in different directions, and what that usually means.
  • A short, specific development path — what to practise before you are asked to lead.

Nobody sees this but you. It does not go to an employer, and it is not a pass/fail.

Who built it

Todd R. Jensen has spent thirty-five years leading teams and hiring leaders — in the military, in companies, and in international development work across Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and elsewhere. He has watched a lot of first-time leaders find their feet, and he wrote these scenarios from what actually made the difference.
